Course Objectives | The main objective of this course is to introduce the basics of digital design and media tools to students, with particular emphasis on fostering their visual literacy and design creativity. Through tutorials and in-class exercises, it aims to equip students with the basics of design and image making applications of Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign). |

Course Description | The sessions will include tutorials on three Adobe CS applications (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign). In-class design exercises will help students assimilate basic design ideas attained through their first year studios into a creative engagement with digital design applications. Exercises will also involve visual explorations of exemplary works from art history through digital design tools. |
